The
child of a military family, Crystal Pheulpin lived and traveled in Europe when
she was young. But if you really want to see the world, try being a landlord.
“As
a landlord there is not much I have not seen, heard, or done, says Crystal, who
began her career in real estate as an investor in 2003, starting her own
property management company with properties ranging from single family homes to
commercial buildings.
Today, Crystal works in all levels of real
estate, although most of her time remains in property management. “I enjoy
assisting tenants in becoming first time home buyers or investors,” she says.
“Along with market knowledge, my experience as an investor and property manager
allows me to assist investment purchases to fit individual needs.”
And
Crystal knows what it takes to get a property into shape. She is one of these
people who not only likes painting, but admits to it, and spends many hours of
her own time making homes come alive again.
So, no surprise, some of Crystal’s interests
include shopping for deals at the Habitat for Humanity Restores or in antique
markets. Buyers and investors can come to her knowing that she can see the big
picture and help transform a property into a special home or rental. She knows
the local market and has the attention to detail and problem-solving skills to position
clients to achieve positive outcomes.
“Every day is a new day in real estate and
each day is different,” Crystal says. “My life is my job, and my job is my life
and I enjoy every minute.”
Because of this, many of her clients remain
her friends after the sale, because of the relationships she builds while
finding them the perfect property, and because she very seldom asks them to
help her paint.
When not on the job, Crystal is active in
school organizations and charity events. She enjoys being with friends and
getting the opportunity to travel. With her husband and three children, she
loves to attend local festivals and boat on the Potomac River.
“Meeting new people is the best part of real
estate,,” Crystal says. “I enjoy building lifelong relationships and being able
to help a person reach their real estate goals.”
